Courtney, a typical name but yet a unique person. Growing up I've always been told I was born to teach. Both my parents attended Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, so it feels like home when I'm here.I'm attending college to pursue majors in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. My dream job is to work with Kindergarten students. I also would love to own my own childcare facility on the side with an aim of helping families who have trouble affording quality childcare.
Affordable and reliable childcare I can see it now! Unfortunately these dreams won't happen overnight so in order to pursue these dreams I need to further my education! This all brings me to my reasoning for writing this blog, as an assignment for my college world literature class we are required to write a blog. Throughout my blog I will be posting entries of interpretation and analysis of literature we are required to read for class. I also will be posting entries making connections between world news and the themes we are discussing in class. Finally I will be posting an entry about a foreign film of my choice.
